Pride Is Still a Protest

We still celebrate, we still fight.
Pride Month isn’t just a celebration- it’s a call to action.

It’s a reminder that queer and trans people exist loudly, beautifully, and in defiance of systems that try to erase us. It’s a month born out of resistance, sparked by Black and Brown trans women who refused to be silent. And it’s not about corporate rainbows or performative allyship, it’s about liberation.

We Show Up Because We Have To

Queer and trans folks are still under attack. Across the country, lawmakers are passing bills that target our identities, our bodies, our healthcare, our existence. Kids are being told they can’t read books that reflect their families. Trans people are being denied life-saving care. And mental health providers are too often part of the problem, gatekeeping, pathologizing, or simply not showing up.

So at Core Clarity, we want to be CLEAR:
We are not neutral.
We are not silent.
We are not afraid to say “queer,” “trans,” “nonbinary,” or “intersex.”
We are not afraid to say Black trans lives matter.
And we are not afraid to say: you deserve to thrive.

Affirming Care Is NOT a Bonus- It IS the Bare Minimum

Our work is rooted in the understanding that healing is political. That you don’t need to “prove” your gender to access care. That grief looks different when you’ve had to fight just to exist. That joy, community, and resistance are forms of survival.

We center LGBTQIA+ people- especially BIPOC, disabled, neurodivergent, and chronically under-resourced folks- not as an afterthought, but as the heart of what we do.

So What Does Pride Mean to Us?

It means holding space for your rage and your tenderness.
It means showing up when it’s hard, not just when it’s trending.
It means building a world where you don’t have to shrink, mask, or translate yourself to be seen and supported.

Alongside all of this, it also means celebration. Because joy is resistance, too. Dancing is resistance. Rest is resistance. Loving your people, your identity, your survival- THAT’S RESISTANCE.

This Month, and Every Month, We Celebrate You

To our queer and trans clients, friends, and community: We see you, we honor you, and we’re fighting with you.
Pride isn’t just in June—it’s every single day we refuse to disappear.
